Eight police officers injured in pro-Palestinian demonstration in Berlin

Eight police officers were injured during a pro-Palestinian demonstration held last week in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, according to Die Welt newspaper, Report informs via TASS.

As many as 36 criminal cases have been initiated. Investigations are being conducted into incitement of hatred, use of symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations, infliction of bodily harm, and insults.

About 720 people participated in the demonstration. According to available information, a journalist was attacked during the march. Protesters also threw bottles at police officers. Participants also attempted to free detained individuals.

In connection with this, further criminal investigations were initiated regarding attacks on police officers and resistance against them, as well as attempts to steal firearms.

Additionally, 95 people had to cease their participation in the protest due to chanting prohibited slogans.
