The Eiffel Tower in Paris will be illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag on February 24, Mayor Anne Hidalgo said, Report informs via Russian media.
“A year after the start of the conflict, Paris remains committed to the unwavering support of the people of Ukraine,” Hidalgo said, commenting on this decision.
In February 2022, the tower was also illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag for three consecutive evenings. This was done after the start of the war in Ukraine as a sign of support for Kyiv.
