Egypt in urgent talks with Israel, US to de-escalate tensions in Gaza

Egypt is holding intensive consultations with Israel, the US and Palestinian factions to de-escalate tensions that arose on April 7 night around the Gaza Strip, Report informs referring to Al Arabiya TV channel.

The Egyptian authorities “are conducting extensive negotiations with the Israeli side, the United States and certain Palestinian factions in order to restore calm as soon as possible.”
