Türkiye’s ratification of Sweden’s accession to NATO and Türkiye’s progress towards accession to the EU are unrelated, official representative of the European Commission Dana Spinant said at a briefing in Brussels, Report informs referring to foreign media.
The EU has a very clear accession process, there is a certain set of steps that the candidate country must complete, these processes cannot be linked, she noted.
