Dutch, Spain FMs recommend their citizens to leave Ukraine

The Netherlands and Spain have called on all their citizens to leave Ukraine, Report informs, citing relevant Saturday statements of the Foreign Ministries of these countries.

Thus, the Dutch Foreign Ministry said in a statement that "the security situation has already caused serious concern, and in recent days, it has worsened. After consultations with various allies, it was decided to take this step and call on all the Dutch to leave Ukraine."

Most of the employees of the Dutch embassy will also leave Ukraine, only those people will remain, without whom the functioning of the diplomatic mission is impossible.

The Spanish Foreign Ministry said that "given the fluid security situation, it is advised not to travel to Ukraine. Spaniards currently in the country are advised to seriously consider leaving temporarily through available commercial means while the current circumstances persist."
