Downpours kill six in Italy

At least six people died and three are missing due to heavy rains in the Marche region of Italy, Report informs, referring to TASS.

About 420 mm of precipitation fell in just 2-3 hours, which is half of the annual norm for the region.

As reported, there are cases of landslides and road closures. In some cities, streets were flooded, and cars were swept away. There were interruptions in electricity supply and telephone communication.

The mayor of Barbara has signed an order to close all schools.
