A cargo plane has crashed into a residential building near the airport outside Lithuania's capital Vilnius, reports the Lithuanian public service company LRT, Report informs via Sweden Herald.
A massive fire is raging at the scene, reports the news site Delfi. It is reportedly a two-story residential building.
At least one person has died in the crash, which occurred at 05.30 on Monday morning.
Two have been taken to hospital, one has been declared dead. These are the people who were on the plane, according to preliminary information, says Saulius RaĆĄevskis at the rescue service to LRT.
The plane belonged to DHL and flew from German Leipzig. Four people, including two pilots, were on board. At least one of the pilots is reported to have been conscious when taken to hospital.
