Denmark, Germany to jointly transfer 80 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine

Denmark and Germany are joining forces to transfer 80 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine, Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said, Report informs.

Poulsen told the Danish TV2 channel that the tanks should be ready for use in Ukraine by June 1.

Poulsen is currently on a visit to Berlin, where he is meeting with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. They will also meet with Danish instructors who teach Ukrainians how to prepare for the use of tanks.
