Six people have died during tests of a vaccine developed jointly by American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and German company BioNTech, Report says, citing the US Food and Drug Administration.
The fatal result was observed in a group of vaccinated patients who also received a placebo. Two people died among those who took the drug, and four placebo volunteers.
One of the vaccinated suffered from obesity and atherosclerosis and died three days after taking the drug's first dose. Another volunteer had a heart attack 60 days after the second dose.
