Coronavirus keeps spreading through Europe

After Georgia, Denmark, and Estonia in Europe, Romania also reported its first case of coronavirus infection yesterday.

Country’s Health Minister Victor Costache said at an emergency meeting held in the Interior Affairs Ministry that the man infected with a virus is a resident of the southern county of Gorj. He contracted the disease after contacting an Italian national, who tested positive for coronavirus. The man is in good condition and shows no symptoms.

Director of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Europe, Hans Kluge announced on February 26 that the virus had recently spread to 43 different countries worldwide, including 13 in Europe.
