The Constitutional Court (CC) recognized as legal the initiative of the Moldovan parliament deputies to initiate a referendum on the republic’s accession to the European Union and to make amendments to the constitution based on its results.
Report informs via TASS that the corresponding verdict was presented by the chairman of the Constitutional Court, Domnika Manole.
"The initiative to revise the constitution <...> complies with the provisions of the fundamental law and can be proposed for approval by parliament," the judge said.
