Confirmed COVID-19 cases have increased to 631 in Kyrgyzstan, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
According to the country’s headquarters for the fight against COVID-19, 19 more people tested positive for coronavirus on April 23, while 5 of those infected are medical workers.
Thus, the number of COVID-19 cases has reached 631 people; 162 of them are medical workers and 12 law enforcement officers. Eight people died of the virus, while 302 recovered. By the preliminary data, almost 9 thousand people were in contact with infected.
The Republic declared a state of emergency in connection with the outbreak of the disease. Some cities, including the capital, are under a state of emergency.
