Colombian capital halts vaccination process over protests

The Colombian capital, Bogota, has suspended COVID-19 diagnostic and vaccination stations amid protests against tax reform, the city's Secretary of Health Alejandro Gomez said on his Twitter page.

"I sadly ordered the closure of COVID-19 diagnostic stations, as well as vaccination positions. Current conditions do not allow to continue the working day."

The Bogota government made this decision after the suspension of urban passenger transport. During the protests on Wednesday, demonstrators blocked a significant part of the city's roads.
