City hall of French Calais evacuated after receiving threatening message

The city hall of the French city of Calais, located on the shores of the English Channel in the north of the country, has been evacuated after receiving a threatening message, Report informs referring to BFMTV channel.

French media previously reported that the city halls of at least six cities in the country were evacuated after reports of mining.

The nature of the threat received is not reported.

Due to the closure of the city hall, city residents will temporarily not be able to contact the administration, since all appointments have been cancelled. The building will open after law enforcement officers carry out the necessary checks.
