Xi Jinping thanks Microsoft owner for help

Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a letter of gratitude to Bill Gates. He thanked the Microsoft owner and his wife Melinda for their assistance in the fight against coronavirus outbreak.

Report informs, citing Xinhua News Agency, that Xi Jinping said the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation joined the efforts to fight the virus early on and is still playing an active role.

Earlier, the Microsoft CEO’s charity foundation said that it would provide $100 million to battle a new type of coronavirus.
