Chinese president calls on army to prepare for military operations

At the conference on national defense and military reforms held in Beijing on September 21, the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, called on the country's armed forces to prepare for military operations, Report informs, citing TASS.

Jinpin called for generalizing and applying the successful experience of reforms, mastering the new situation, understanding the demands of tasks, and focusing on preparing for wars.

High-ranking representatives of the Central Military Commission, People's Armed Militia, and Military Academies took part in the conference.

The Central Military Commission directs the Chinese People's Liberation Army and People's Armed Militia. Jinping has been the chairman of the Council since 2013.
