Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with the leadership of the European Union in Beijing on December 7, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry, Hua Chunying, said, Report informs via TASS.
“Under the agreements between China and the European Union, the 24th China-EU summit will be held in Beijing on December 7,” Hua Chunying said. “Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.”
As Hua Chunying clarified, the meeting will also be attended by the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang.
The previous in-person summit meeting in this format took place in 2019.
