China successfully carried out a test of “land-based midcourse anti-missile intercept technology, Ministry of National Defense of China said, Report informs referring to TASS.
"We are talking about land-based anti-missile systems. The test achieved its expected purpose. The test was defensive in nature and not targeted against any country," the statement said.
Details of the tests are not disclosed.
