China and Pakistan have completed a three-week joint anti-terrorist exercise 'Warrior-8,' Report informs via Chinese media.
Over 300 servicemen from the Western Military District of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) participated in the exercises.
The exercises were conducted against the backdrop of recent attacks on Chinese citizens in Pakistan. One such incident was a suicide attack in November near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, which resulted in the death of two Chinese citizens.
Following this incident, China's Foreign Ministry urged Pakistan to take stricter measures to protect the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, as well as Chinese personnel and projects.
