Casualties reported in explosion outside Russian embassy in Kabul

From 15 to 20 people may have died or suffered as a result of an explosion outside the Russian embassy in Kabul.

Report informs, citing foreign media, that the explosive device was detonated the moment a diplomat was announcing the names of candidates for visa issuance at the embassy building. The embassy has declined to comment on the incident.

Two Russian citizens - a guard and a diplomat - reportedly suffered as a result of the explosion.

An explosion outside the Russian embassy in Kabul (Afghanistan) was committed by a suicide bomber, Report informs, citing Al Arabiya.

The incident occurred on Dar-ul-Aman Street, where the Russian diplomatic mission is located.

According to the agency, supporters of the government formed by the radical Taliban opened fire on the suicide bomber.

The authorities have yet to comment on the incident.
