The Vatican's Secretary of State (head of government), Cardinal Pietro Parolin, will participate in the international conference on Ukraine, scheduled for June 15-16 in Switzerland, the Holy See said in a statement, Report informs via TASS.
The Vatican has been represented as an observer at similar meetings before, and this time, the Secretary of State will represent it, the statement says.
The international conference in Switzerland aims to bring together key stakeholders to discuss ways to end the conflict and promote stability in Ukraine.
