British ambassador to the EU unexpectedly resigns

Baku. 3 January. REPORT.AZ/ British ambassador to the EU Sir Ivan Rogers stepped down.

Report informs, referring to TASS, prime minister office at Downing Street said.

Diplomat’s resignation has chocking effect just months before Theresa May triggers formal Brexit negotiations with the EU in which he would have been expected to play a major role.
