EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has announced the preparation of a new package of EU sanctions, Report informs citing TASS.
The sanctions will be applied to more than 100 Russians.
Earlier on March 9, the permanent representatives of the EU countries agreed on the expansion of sanctions, a technical procedure for final approval was launched, after which the new package will be made public and enter into force. It is expected that the sanctions list may be published as early as March 9 evening.
