The conflict must not spread further in the region, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken wrote in X about the results of his talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan, Report informs.

"Today in Amman, I met with His Majesty King Abdullah II to discuss efforts to protect civilians in Gaza and the West Bank. I thanked him for his leadership in providing humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza," he noted.
