Blinken confirms creation of NATO command to assist Ukraine

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has confirmed the formation of a headquarters structure in Wiesbaden, Germany, to ensure the logistics of arms supplies to Ukraine, Report informs.

“We have very ambitious commitments that we’re making as an Alliance going forward. We’re demonstrating our enduring support for Ukraine and providing a strong bridge to Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance. We’re establishing a NATO command in Wiesbaden, coordinating training, security assistance, equipment – its transfer, its repair, its maintenance. We’re strengthening our collective deterrence and defense,” Blinken said at a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
