Biden extends national emergency declared following 9/11 attacks for another year

The White House has announced that US President Joe Biden extended the national emergency declared following the 9/11 terrorist attacks for another year on Friday.

Report informs, citing foreign media, that in a statement, Biden declared that "I am continuing for one year the national emergency previously declared on September 14, 2001, in Proclamation 7463, with respect to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the continuing and immediate threat of further attacks on the United States."
