Baltic countries reach agreement to restrict entry of Russian citizens

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have reached an agreement to restrict the entry of Russian citizens from Belarus and Russia, Latvian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkevics said, Report informs citing foreign media.

“Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have reached an agreement to restrict the movement of Russian citizens across their borders with the Russian Federation and Belarus,” the minister said.

An exception will be made for truck drivers, diplomats, and those crossing the border for humanitarian and family reasons.
