Azerbaijanis taking refuge in Germany return to Ukraine

A group of Ukrainian citizens of Azerbaijani descent, who took refuge in Germany after the start of the Russo-Ukrainian War, have returned to Ukraine, Report informs.

Yesterday, those who want to return to Ukraine gathered at the Duisburg railway station in Germany. A total of 11 Azerbaijanis were among those who wanted to return.

Germany's Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) said that despite warnings due to the war, an increase in the number of people returning to Ukraine has been recorded in the last two months.

BAMF said that about 10,000 Ukrainian citizens have returned since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
