At least 3 killed in shootings in southwest Pakistan

At least 3 people have been killed and 10 injured over the past week in gunfights by warring factions of the Mengal tribe in southwestern Pakistan’s Balochistan province, Report informs referring to TASS citing the Dawn newspaper.

The clashes took place near the city of Wadh in violation of the ceasefire agreement reached earlier by the elders of the tribe. Mortars and rocket-propelled grenade launchers were used in skirmishes.

Educational institutions have been closed in Wadh, transport has stopped working, markets and shops have stopped working, which has led to a shortage of food and basic necessities in the city.
