Araghchi mulls situation in region with colleagues from 7 countries

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held telephone conversations with his counterparts from several countries, Report informs via Tasnim.

Araghchi reportedly held telephone conversations with British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and Pakistani Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.

During the conversations, Araghchi briefed them on Iran's position on recent developments in the region and stated that Tehran is not a factor in escalation in the region.
