Another Iranian military adviser killed in Syria

Military adviser to the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Migdad Mehgani, who was wounded a few days ago as a result of Israeli strikes on targets around the Syrian capital Damascus, has died, Report informs via Sabrin News.

This is the second officer that Iran has lost in Syria in recent days.

Earlier, the IRGC military adviser Milad Heydari was eliminated.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is an elite Iranian military-political formation created in 1979 from paramilitary detachments of Islamic revolutionary committees, supporters of Ayatollah Khomeini. It took an active part in the Iran-Iraq war, as well as in the creation of the Hezbollah organization. It is officially part of the Iranian armed forces. The authorities of the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain recognize the IRGC as a terrorist organization.
