The territorial integrity and sovereignty of both Armenia and Azerbaijan should not be questioned, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said in her speech at a meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Karabakh, Report informs.
The German minister has called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to return to negotiations through the mediation of the European Union.
This conflict has resulted in numerous casualties since it began more than 30 years ago, she noted, adding that the peoples of the region need lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
