American media explain why US loses wars

The US policy hub, or the policy-makers, were primarily responsible for the war failures of the country, Lawrence Korb said in an article for the National Review, Report informs.

In his analysis of why the US didn’t win in Iraq, Korb wrote that the Bush administration got the US into war falsely claiming that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.

At the same time, the Americans established control over the local oil, but the proceeds from its sale are divided between influential clans and private military companies.

Analyzing the events in Afghanistan, the specialist emphasizes that the US army was unable to achieve transformations in this country, and over the next 20 years caused irreparable damage to its reputation.

According to the author of the article, the US Armed Forces have long been unable to spread democracy in the world. Moreover, Korb wondered if democracy remained in the US itself.
