Al Jazeera: Death toll of journalists in Gaza conflict reaches 220

Palestinian writer, poet, and journalist Mohammad Hijazi was killed in an Israeli airstrike at the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza Strip, Report informs via Al Jazeera.

According to their information, this brings the total number of media representatives killed in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since October 7, 2023, to 220.

The channel cites a statement from Gaza's Ministry of Health, which says that Hijazi was among nearly 90 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on the besieged territory over the past weekend.

Earlier, the Palestinian Authority suspended Al Jazeera's operations in its controlled territory, accusing it of spreading "provocative content."
