Today's meeting of NATO defence ministers will discuss future steps to be taken by the Alliance, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said, Report informs.
"We will discuss not only Russia's attack on Ukraine and the consequences of the war but also the steps that the Alliance will take in the long run. We must be sure that this crisis will not go beyond the borders of Ukraine, "he said.
An emergency meeting of NATO defense ministers will be held today at NATO headquarters in Brussels. Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar will also attend the meeting.
A meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Defense Ministers will take place at the NATO Headquarters on March 16. Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar will also participate in the meeting.
