Afghanistan to build up regular army soon

"A regular army will be built up in Afghanistan soon," Chief of Taliban Army Staff Kari Fasihuddin said on September 15 in Kabul, Report informs, citing foreign media.

According to him, the army must be trained to have the capability of defending the country.

"Taliban will punish those who speak in the name of "ethnicity" and "resistance" to preserve the achievements gained during 20 years and support democracy. We will not allow them to divide Afghanistan and undermine security," Fasihuddin said.
