Acting Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwaarul Haq Kakar said the world's economic prospects seem gloomy on the background of coronavirus pandemic, conflicts and climatic changes, Report informs via TASS.
"A succession of exogenous shocks, Covid, conflict and climate change have devastated economies of many developing countries," he said from the rostrum of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly.
"Many countries of the global south have barely managed to stave off defaults, poverty and hunger have grown, reversing development gains of three decades," PM Kakar added.
