At least six flights heading to Kansai Airport were redirected to other airfields due to a suspicious person in the restricted area of this airport, Report informs via NHK TV channel.
After receiving information about an intrusion into the secured area of Kansai Airport, the runways were closed for approximately an hour.
After some time, the suspicious person was detained and is being questioned by the police.
During this time, several flights were canceled, and six planes had to be redirected to other airports.
