6.6-magnitude earthquake strikes Peru

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake has struck Peru, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), Report informs.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 73 km, 50 km northeast of the city of Coracora in the Parinacochas Province of the Ayacucho Region in central Peru.

No casualties or damage have been reported.
