6.1 magnitude earthquake shakes Russia’s Kamchatka

A 6.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Kamchatka region of eastern Russia, said the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Report informs.

The quake took place 170 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city, northwest of Kamchatka, at a depth of 65km.
