363 children die since start of hostilities in Ukraine

A total of 363 children died in Ukraine since the start of war, the country's Prosecutor General's Office said in a statement on Telegram.

Report informs, citing Ukrinform, that more than 1,081 children were affected across the country as a result of war. According to the official information of the juvenile prosecutors, 363 children were killed and more than 718 sustained injuries of various degrees of severity," the message specifies.

According to the agency, the highest number of affected children was reported in Donetsk region (377), Kharkiv region (202), Kyiv region (116), Chernihiv region (68), Luhansk region (61), Mykolaiv region (61), Kherson region (55), and Zaporizhia region (41).

The Prosecutor General's Office noted that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to verify data coming from the zones of active hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
