At least one person was killed and 11 others were injured after a 16-vehicle collision in a tunnel in Yilan County, Taiwan, Report informs referring to TASS.
The incident occurred on October 24 around 13:42 local time, when a truck drove at high speed into a convoy of vehicles moving through the tunnel. It is noted that the speed of the truck reached about 75 km/h with the maximum permissible speed through the tunnel being 40 km/h.
The vehicles involved included both cars and trucks. It is also noted that one of the victims was seriously injured.
