According to him, Azerbaijani lands have been under occupation for many years:

"During the 44-day Patriotic War, our brave army liberated our lands from occupation under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief. Besides destroying Azerbaijan's national and cultural heritage, the Armenians also caused great environmental damage to Azerbaijan. Armenians try to continue environmental terrorism even after the occupation. Azerbaijanis have been protesting for 85 days to end this ecological terror. I believe that TURKPA member states will also support us in this matter."
