Türkiye will always stand by Azerbaijan, this is an invariable state policy, Bayram Ozcelik, Secretary of the Bureau of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, said on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of great leader Heydar Aliyev.
Report informs that, according to him, unshakable solidarity remains between Azerbaijan and Türkiye: “It was the Azerbaijani state and people who came to the rescue during the earthquake. We will never forget this.”
Ozcelik noted that without Heydar Aliyev this period would have been difficult for the countries of the region: “The great leader was an important figure not only for Azerbaijan, but also for Türkiye. Today, various cities in Türkiye have streets and schools named after him. This is a vivid example of respect for Heydar Aliyev.”
