Those violating rule of refutation, response and correction by media organizations to be fined 1,500 manats ($881)

According to a proposed amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses, the media organizations in Azerbaijan who violate the rule of refutation, response, and correction will be fined 1500 manats ($881), Report informs.

According to the amendment, officials will be fined from 300 manats to 600 manats ($176 to $352), and legal entities - from 1,000 manats to 1,500 manats ($588 to $881) for violation of the rules of the Law on the Media regarding refutation, response, and correction.
