Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova said at the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation that Azerbaijan is a supporter of a peaceful solution to the Conflict at the negotiating table.
"Conflict must be resolved within the framework of states' territorial integrity and the inviolability of their borders, recognized at the international level, based on the norms and principles of international law. We believe that in order to determine the status of Karabakh, it is necessary to return the Azerbaijanis expelled from there to their native lands and ensure their safety and the establishment of life together with the Armenian population. Only then can we talk about any status.
The Azerbaijani side is ready to hold all the necessary measures to benefit both communities of this region, " S. Gafarova said.
