"Strengthening the defense capabilities of our Armed Forces, which was the guarantor of our historic victory, strengthening the national security, deploying military units in the liberated territories, financing measures to reliably protect the restored state border will remain main priorities of next year's budget," Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at a meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship on November 10.
The committee is discussing the next year's state budget envelope, Report informs.
"Fifteen percent of next year's state budget expenditures, 4.49 billion manats ($2.64 billion), will be allocated for this purpose," the minister stressed.
