PACE to make decisions on ISIS militants, their families

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will decide on ISIS fighters and their families, Report has learned from the press and public relations department of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan.

On January 22, Samad Seyidov, the chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary Relations and the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, as well as members of the delegation, MPs Erkin Gadirli, Rafael Huseynov, Nigar Arpadarai, Kamal Jafarov, Sabir Hajiyev, Konul Nurullayeva, Asim Mollazada, Fazil Mustafa, Sevinj Fataliyeva, Tural Ganjaliyev, Parvin Karimzada will visit Strasbourg to take part in the next PACE session.

The session will discuss and make appropriate decisions regarding the problems associated with ISIS fighters and their families returning from Syria and other countries to the member states of the Council of Europe, the impact of armed conflicts on the environment, the problem of sexual harassment, as well as PACE monitoring procedures.
