Azerbaijani Parliament to address congratulatory letters to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva

The issue of adopting a statement on November 8-Victory Day was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan.

According to Report, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova said that the victory was the result of the indomitable will of President Ilham Aliyev.

She noted that Azerbaijan ensured the implementation of UN resolutions and other international documents with its own strength.

Gafarova offered to send congratulatory letters to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. The MPs welcomed this proposal with applause.
