Manama Declaration adopted at NAM conference

The 2nd conference of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, held in Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, adopted the Manama Declaration.

Report informs, referring to the Milli Majlis (Parliament) that, over 300 representatives, including the Speakers of the Parliaments of more than 20 countries, more than 60 delegations, participated in the event.

Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, greeted the heads of the delegations participating in the event.

Then Speaker Sahiba Gafarova opened the conference.

The participants of the event commemorated the people who lost their lives as a result of the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria with a minute of silence.

Then Gafarova gave a speech.
